Customs duties (currently 6.5% for vehicles) and UK VAT (20%) may apply depending on the situation. On export from France: EX1 declaration with French customs. On import in the UK: C88/E2 declaration, payment of customs duties and VAT. For registration, a NOVA certificate must be submitted to the DVLA within 14 days of the vehicle's arrival.
